Thinking About Getting Yamaha CLA10A Monitors — Are They Worth It for a Beginner?
I've been wanting to upgrade my home studio and keep seeing the Yamaha CLA10A monitors (the ones modeled after the old NS10s). I'm mainly recording and mixing my own songs at home, nothing professional, just for fun.
Are these a good choice for someone just getting started with mixing, or are they too "pro" and unforgiving for a beginner? Would they actually help me learn to mix better or just make things more confusing/frustrating? If you use them, do you like them for day-to-day listening too, or are they just a mixing tool?
Any advice or personal experiences would be super helpful!
