I recently decided to purchase an LP-style guitar as I've been wanting to add one to my collection. My uncle owns a Firefly 338, which I absolutely adore, so I opted for a similar model but with a matte finish. The photos of it looked impressive, and I'm eagerly awaiting its arrival in Florida. This summer, when I visit my family there, this guitar will be my primary instrument for playing throughout July and August.
One concern I own is that the pickups on this model are sometimes known to be microphonic. I plan to fully test the guitar once I arrive in Florida before making any decisions on whether or not the pickups need replacing. If they don't meet my expectations, upgrading them will be my next step.
