Jumping in here-I’ve noticed that if your room isn’t heavily treated, running some software-based room calibration (like Sonarworks or ARC) makes a huge difference with the T8Vs, especially in the low-mids. Also, if you try a sub, watch out for a low-end bump around where your sub and T8Vs overlap-dialing in the crossover by ear with some reference tracks and checking in mono helps. For comparison, I’d say the T8Vs are punchier than Kali LP-8s, but the Yamahas (HS8s) still edge them out in terms of absolute midrange honesty. Totally depends on your workflow!
