Bastien Piano Basics

I've been using "Bastien Piano Basics" for a while now to help with teaching my younger students, and I've been noticing mixed results. Some students respond really well and seem to grasp the concepts quickly, while others struggle with the progression of lessons.

For those who've used this method, what have been your experiences? Do you supplement it with additional materials or exercises to help round out the learning process? How do you adapt it for students who are having a tougher time engaging with the content?
