I've been using the KRK Rokit G4 series in my home studio for a while now, and I'm pretty impressed with the DSP-driven Graphic EQ. It really helps in tailoring the sound to my room's acoustics, which aren't perfect. The ability to adjust frequencies on the fly is a significant advantage, especially when I'm mixing tracks that need precise monitoring.
Compared to the Yamaha HS series, the Rokits are a bit more colored in their sound signature. The Yamahas tend to be flatter, which can be better for critical listening but might feel less exciting sonically. As for the JBL LSR305s, they're mighty monitors as well but I found the Rokits have a slightly crisper high end.
Regarding durability and customer support, my experience has been positive so far. No issues with reliability and customer service was helpful when I needed some guidance on setup configurations. Overall, if you value the DSP features and a more vibrant sound profile, the Rokit G4s are worth considering.
