I'm facing a bit of a predicament with my health as I might need to undergo major neck surgery soon. Due to this, I'll be under a strict restriction not to lift anything haeveir than 8 pounds for at least a month afterward. This brings me to my current challenge: all my guitars weigh around 8 pounds or more, and I certainly don't want to give up playing during my recovery. I'm on the hunt for a guitar that's not only lighter—preferably under 7 pounds—but also affordable, considering my medical expenses are piling up. My budget is capped at $300, whether for a new or used instrument. Additionally, I'd love if the guitar could be equipped with P90 pickups, as I don't currently own any with those. Does anyone have suggestions for guitars that meet these criteria? Your recommendations would be greatly appreciated as music is my solace, and I wish to keep it close during my recovery.
