I recently stumbled upon a Stratocaster guitar in a local antique shop while already juggling two other projects. Initially, I wasn’t planning on taking on another project, but I couldn't resist bringing it home after discovering it. Upon closer inspection at home, my initail plan was simply to give it a quick clean-up and then sell it off quickly, which is why I didn’t take any 'before' photos—a decision I now regret.
The guitar was in a pretty rough state; it had no strings and was covered in dirt. More worryingly, there was significant rust—not just superficial, but deep and crunchy—covering all the screws and pickup poles. The jack plate was also in bad shape.
