I've been drumming for a few years now, but I've mostly stuck to using beginner or intermediate drum sets. I'm at the point where I want to invest in a higher-quality drum set that's suitable for more advanced playing, both for live performances and studio recording.

I'm looking for recommendations on the best drum sets currently available. Here are a few specifics that might help narrow it down:

Genre Versatility: I play a mix of rock, jazz, and funk, so something versatile would be ideal.
